Just In: Former NSA, Sambo Dasuki Taken Into Custody by DSS

Reports reaching the news media reveals operatives of the Directorate of State Security, DSS have re-arrested Sambo Dasuki over fresh charges of corruption.

A newswire connected to the ex-NSA, PR Nigeria released a statement saying that former National Security Adviser, Dasuki was picked up by agents of the DSS and taken into custody at their "Yellow House" headquarters near the Presidential Villa in Abuja, according to SaharaReporters.

Dasuki's latest arrest follows the arrest of several of his former staff members, arms suppliers and a former minister of state for Finance who was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday.

Dasuki allegedly withdrew $2.1 billion from the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation in the dying days of former President Goodluck Jonathan’s regime.
