Nigerian celebrities took some time to mock Argentine football legend, Maradona after his country got knocked out of the world cup.

Daddy Showkey mocking Maradona

Diego Maradona infuriated many Nigerians when he apparently held up his middle finger at the Super Eagles of Nigeria after Argentina scored the winning goal in their group stage clash at the World Cup.

To further add insult to injury, Argentina had knocked Nigeria out of the tournament, a development which had gotten many lovers of the sport, very sad in Nigeria.

However, Argentina went on to play France in the round of 16 and were knocked out after losing 4:3 at full time. This made Nigerians very happy because they saw it as revenge for them.

Now, Nigerian celebrities have mocked Diego Maradona following Argentina's elimination from the world cup.

Celebrities likes of AY Makun, Helen Paul, Daddy Showky, Chinda Monalisa amongst others were those who shaded him online.
