Demola, the thugged who got lynched for snatching ballot boxes
A member of the O’dua People’s Congress (OPC), received mob action after being attacked by residents during the elections today in Okota area of Lagos.
The OPC member identified as Demola, who is said to be the head of the vigilante group in the area, was lynched by the angry crowd who accused him of leading thugs to disrupt voting process at a polling unit in the area.
He was beaten and stoned to an unconscious state before his motorcycle was set ablaze.
A video of the Head of OPC in critical condition was posted on social media moments ago and he was reportedly rescued by members of the Igbo Community in the Okota area of Lagos.
According to a twitter user who posted the video, he was rescued and rushed to the hospital where he is currently receiving medical attention
