Breaking News: Again, Court Orders The Arrest Of Jay-Jay Okocha Over Tax Evasion

An Igbosere High Court in Lagos has again renewed the arrest warrant it issued nearly two years and 11 months ago against ex-Super Eagles captain, Augustine 'Jay-Jay' Okocha, for alleged tax evasion, The Nation reports.

 

Justice Adedayo Akintoye made the renewal following Okocha’s repeated failure to conclude an out-of-court settlement with the Lagos State Government.

 

Okocha has also failed to appear in court to answer to the charge.
