The Nigerian navy has reportedly begun to destroy some unserviceable firearms that had been recovered.

According to a report by The Nation, the Nigerian Navy on Thursday commenced the manual destruction of many unserviceable firearms.

The unserviceable firearms being destroyed are the ones recovered from Ondo State Amnesty Programme.
