After a disagreement over the transfer of the U-17 Golden Eaglets star,  ‎Victor Osimhen, to German side, VFL Wolfsburg, father of Nigerian youth international, Patrick Osimhen, is reportedly at war with the owner of 36 Lions Football club, Liameed Olawale Gafar.

According to SaharaReporters, Gafar allegedly sent thugs to beat up Patrick Osimhen and he was thoroughly beaten till he suffered a broken arm before he was hurriedly rushed to an hospital, where he was admitted.

Speaking on the feud, Patrick dispelled widespread reports that Gafar was his son’s legal guardian and adviser as he referred to the 36 Lions owner as 'an impostor' adding that only Shira Yussuf, ‎his partner, Ariyo Igbayilola and Ultimate Strikers coach, Chinedu Ogbenna have been authorized to represent Victor Osimhen.

In his words, he said: "Gafar, I don’t care to see him and I don’t want to see him. I only know Ariyo, Shira and Chinedu, I don’t know who Gafar is."

Liameed Olawale Gafar, a native of Porto Novo, Benin Republic, reportedly backed by NFF President, Amaju Pinnick and Vice President, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi, owns 10%‎ of Victor Osimhen’s economic rights having bought it for $24,000 (about N6 million) in what is a 3rd-party ownership prohibited by FIFA.

Michael Osimhen, the players brother in an interview, said, "Gafar (36 Lion CEO) is not Victor’s legal guardian, Victor can’t have a legal guardian when his father is still alive.

Gafar is not a Nigerian, how can he be his guardian, he is telling lies. We don’t want Victor to play in Germany . They said they will be back this week and we will continue discussions. Gafar took them to Germany, no other person.

They went to Germany without the father, they are on their own. Victor is not signing any contract because they traveled without his knowledge. The father said he will report Wolfsburg and the agents to Fifa if they sign any contract. It was only on Thursday we found out that they went to Germany."
