Throwback Photo: Gen. Sani Abacha, Yakubu Gowon & Odumegwu Ojuwku Inside the Presidential Jet

 

This photo shows the late General Sani Abacha, while he was the head of state of Nigeria.  He was pictured flying in one of the jets of the Nigerian Presidential fleet and with him in the aircraft were the former belligerents of the Nigerian Civil War:

 

To the left is General Yakubu Gowon and to the right is the late Ikemba of Nnewi and leader of the Biafran Forces, Dim Odumegwu Ojuwku who later contested for the presidency of Nigeria.
