The Minister of Information is intensifying efforts to carry stakeholders along as he has slated a new date to meet with newspaper columnists, online publishers and on air personalities in Lagos.

Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture, has earmarked a series of meetings for this week in continuation of his ongoing consultations with key stakeholders.
The Minister will be meeting newspaper columnists on Thursday, 21 January; online publishers on Friday 22 January; on air personalities (OAPs) on Saturday, 23 January and Musicians from the six geo-political zones on Sunday, 24 January.
All the meetings will be held in Lagos.
It would be recalled that the Minister since assuming office, has met Civil Society Organizations and representatives of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE), Nigerian Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) and Radio, Television, Theatre Workers Union (RATTAWU), among other stakeholders.
He said the aim of the meeting is bridging the information gap between the government and the people and carrying the stakeholders along in the formulation and implementation of policies.
