The spate of kidnapping has increased in the country with the business of requesting for ransom before releasing abducted persons as the culture of jungle justice still prevails in Lagos for suspected kidnappers.
According to a twitter user, @lanreneville who shared the news and a photo on social media and also advised parents to be vigilant, a suspected kidnapper was allegedly caught in Lagos as he was trying to kidnap some school children.
According to the report, the suspect identified as Amuche Olivia was caught in the Aguda area of Surulere today, Friday, January 5.
The culture of jungle justice still prevails in Lagos as evident in the treatment the suspected kidnapper received from Lagosians.
Some twitter users who reacted to the motive behind the attempted kidnapping, said it might be ritualistic or sexual molestation.
