Some stranded motorists
Residents of Abuja stormed social media to lament bitterly about the traffic issues caused by the arrival of President Muhammadu Buhari after a week-long trip abroad.
Vehicular movements virtually seized in the Garki and Gwagwalada area of Abuja due to security protocols to ensure the president's safety as he returned to the Aso Rock Villa.
A netizen in Abuja has this to say:
''A trip from Garki to Gwagwalada should at most take an hour but Buhari and his team ensured we spent 2 hrs plus ,many missed their flight , many cars overheated and packed up! the only plus was making new friends in the hold up
"Same thing the All Progressives Congress, APC accused former President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and his wife, Patience Jonathan of doing is the same thing they are now practising with greater venom''
