Zambian Model Lisa Mutambo Dies Suddenly After Night Out With Friends

Model and socialite Lisa Mutambo, 25, of Zambia, passed away at home in the Kalundu neighborhood of Lusaka after allegedly throwing up and losing consciousness following a nite out with friends.

According to authorities, Mutambo spent the evening with two female companions at a hotel where she acted as an ambassador before leaving around 22:30 hours for another drinking establishment to continue socializing.

According to police, between 02:30 and 03:00 hours, Mutambo's boyfriend, Caleb Lisa, also known as Andrea, picked up the three women and dumped them off in the Minestone/Casanova neighborhood.

He then went back to Kalundu with Mutambo, where they were staying.

According to the police, Mutambo started throwing up as soon as he got to the house and eventually passed out.

According to reports, her partner called a friend, who helped get her to Victoria Hospital, where she was declared dead.

Around 9:30 on Thursday, her death was reported to Chelstone Police Station.

According to the police, she passed away at the hospital between 3:30 and 4:30.

The development coincides with previous social media allegations that Mutambo's lover had beaten her to death.

But according to the police, she had no visible bodily injuries.

Her body was first carried to FSG Morgue before being moved to the University Teaching Hospital Morgue for a postmortem assessment.

Police personnel processed both the original and secondary sites.

While investigations continue to determine the circumstances behind the model's abrupt death, an inquiry file has been established.
