Damilola Adegbite Warns Single Women Not to Marry Just Because a Man Chose Them

Nollywood actress Damilola Adegbite has advised single ladies not to accept relationship or marriage proposals from men just because those men chose them.

She said they should settle only for men who are right for them.

She spoke in a recent episode of her podcast.

According to her, some ladies end up with men who are ready to settle down simply because the men chose them, without asking if the men are a good fit.

Adegbite said it does not matter if the man is younger, older or the same age.

The real question is whether the two of them can love, support and build together.

She said women are not looking for numbers but for a partner, and that a younger partner is fine if he fits.

She also had a word for older women.

She advised them not to say yes to a younger man just because he makes them feel desirable.

She said they should first check if he is respectful and emotionally mature.

According to her, an older woman should only choose such a man if he knows what he wants, respects her children and her life, and truly wants to build something with her.
