The Nigerian Senate during its deliberations in Abuja, has decried the way the President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal executive is chasing the lawmakers with corruption charges.
During its plenary today at the National Assembly, Abuja, members of the Nigerian Senate, deliberated on the alleged forgery of their standing order for which the embattled Senate President Bukola Saraki, and his deputy, Ike Ekwermadu, are going to be arraigned for next week Monday, June 27th.
While speaking during their deliberation, Senator Dino Melaye, accused the Executive of chasing rats when the economy is gradually falling into a recession.
On his part, the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, said those using their office to persecute others should remember that there is tomorrow.
