Uche Ogah of the People's Democratic Party in Abia State has been given a profound support by thousands of supporters as he stormed Owerri for a scheduled swearing-in ceremony.

New governor of Abia state (based on a High Court order) Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah yesterday arrived Owerri airport en-route to Umuahia for his swearing-in ceremony amidst the political crisis in the South-east state.

A mammoth crowd gathered at his campaign office in Umuahia to welcome him as he braces up for the task ahead.

Meanwhile, the embattled 'second governor' Okezie Ikpeazu removed from office of an alleged forgery of tax documents has affirmed that he is still the executive governor of the state and is currently appealing the judgement of Justice Okon Abang that threw him out of office.
