This is the Bizarre Reason N*ked Male Statues Always Have Small P*nises

The reason why statues always have small p*nises might really shock you as historians reveal the true reason.

Ever noticed this small detail about n*ked male statues sculpted in Ancient Rome or Greece? According to The Sun UK, here is why most male statues always have small p*nis.

Although the relics in museums represent men as having toned torsos with tight abs, they are certainly less impressive in other areas. Even the most mature culture vultures may find it hard to stifle a giggle when their eyes focus on the statues’ manhood.

Luckily, a group of historians have uncovered the reason why the ancient relics aren’t very well endowed. A blog post by How To Talk About Art History reveals that beauty standards were a lot different in Ancient times.

It explained: “Today, big penises are seen as valuable and manly, but back then, most evidence points to the fact that small penises were considered better than big ones.”

Even Michelangelo’s statue of Biblical hero David, who was considered to be the one of the most perfect man in Ancient history, isn’t equipped with the most impressive equipment.

Historian Kenneth Dover, in his book Greek Homosexuality, argued that small penises were seen as desirable at the time.

Men with more impressive manhoods were seen as unintelligent, less attractive and more sexually promiscuous.
