Sister Rose Catherine Wamboi is a Catholic Nun who has served the church for several years.

 

The lady recently decided to get married...but to the church.

 

According to local Kenyan media, Sister Rose Catherine Wamboi, got married to the church where she served for 25 long years.

 

 

NTV reports that 51-year-old Sister Wamboi who has been a nun at the St. Francis of Assisi Getito Catholic church in Tetu, Nyeri county in Kenya for 25 years, held a traditional wedding ceremony on August 21, “to mark her last stage of being married to the church”.

 

 

Explaining why she married the church, here’s what Wambui said: “I chose to do it because of the values that I got from my culture which have molded me. The same values are the ones that the church is instilling in me.”
