The governor was at the state's parade to mark the 56th Independence day celebration on October 1st when he took the slaute.
The governor's wife Nkechi, and other Imo State women were seen marching towards the podium where he stood and saluted the man smartly.
The crowd reportedly reacted with thunderous cheer at the event.
