Properties Worth Millions Of Naira Destroyed as River Niger Overflows Its Banks in Anambra State (Photos+Video)

 

People of Ogbaru Local Government Area in Anambra state are in pains following the destruction of properties worth millions of naira after the river Niger overflowed its banks once again. 

 

It was gathered that the overflowing was caused as a result of the water rising above normal. Villagers are now complaining that the bad roads also contributed to the woes being suffered by the people. They have called on the government to come to their aid and rescue them from the impending calamity.

 

 

Officials of the meteorological agency have also pleaded with the government to assist the people affected by the flood.
