The pictures of the University of Maiduguri lecturer, Professor Mani killed by a suicide bomber linked with the rampaging Boko Haram sect have surfaced.

The University of Maiduguri has lost a professor of Veterinary Medicine, Mr. Mani to a tragic suicide bomb attack at the school mosque this morning, 16th of January, 2016.

According to reports, an explosion occured this morning while some students and staff of the university were observing prayer at 6:30 am.

Prof Mani who was unfortunately at the scene to pray, lost his life alongside four others. This is coming after President Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigerian army declared victory over the Boko Haram sect following the fall of their stronghold - Sambisa forest.
