Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to news report that former President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan refused to accept British offer to help rescue the Chibok Girls.

Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has revealed that some people in President Muhammadu Buhari's Government were behind the kidnap of over 200 girls from Chibok.

He revealed this following claims by British paper, The Guardian, that former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan refused help from the British government to rescue the missing Chibok Girls.

Writing on Twitter, Fani-Kayode said: "The allegation by the UK's @guardian that @GEJonathan rejected an offer by the UK govt to rescue the Chibok girls is childish and asinine.

"It is true that the Chibok girls were abducted under @GEJonathan's watch but it is also true that elements in @MBuhari's APC were behind it."

Jonathan had earlier denied the report saying it was propagated by enemies bent on ruining his reputation as he insisted that the records are all there to show the story was concocted.
