My Husband was Killed by Soldiers in Ikorodu - Wife of Slain Man Demands for Justice

 

A 40-year-old tenant in Ogijo, Ogun State, Adeola Oyekan has demanded for justice after her husband died on Friday from injuries he sustained when he was assaulted by soldiers from 174 Battalion Ikorodu.

 

The woman, Glory Fagbayide, who spoke to Punch on the telephone on Saturday, said, “I want justice. The four soldiers that beat my husband, our landlady and his son must all end up in jail. My husband and I just married September 2016.”

 

Witnesses said Oyekan was rushed to the Pillars Hospital, Ogijo, where he gave up the ghost.

 

The story of the man's death was earlier reported by one Kenny Abel Adesanya who raised the alarm by posting the photo of the dead man on Twitter.
