A married man has been left red-faced after the boyfriend of his side-chick took advantage of the day by proposing to the girl at a lavish party.

A South African Twitter user has narrated the dramatic story how a married man threw a lavish birthday party for his side chick, only for the girl’s boyfriend to propose to her at the party.

She revealed that after the baffling incident, the man's girlfriend accepted and they are now making waves on social media. In fact, the Twitter user said the story has taught many married men a serious lesson.
