All Progressives Congress members in Lagos State have protested and called for the immediate removal of APC National Legal Adviser, Dr. Muiz Banire.

Members of the All Progressives Congress in the Mushin area of Lagos, on Tuesday protested at the Lagos State House of Assembly in Alausa, Ikeja, demanding the expulsion of the APC National Legal Adviser, Dr. Muiz Banire (SAN), from the party.

The protesters are calling for the resignation of the national legal adviser of the APC, Muiz Banire.

The protest is a result of the ongoing power tussle between Banire and a party chieftain, Chief Dele Ajomale, over the imposition of candidates in the party. The protesters were seen holding placards that read “EFCC Must Prosecute Banire Now!!!” and “Banire is the Greatest Benefactor of Imposition".
