Many Chilean commuters were recently shocked to see a n*ked man wandering around a metro station in a daze.
According to a report by Daily Star UK , the traveller was completely starkers and was spotted in an underground station in the Chilean capital Santiago de Chile.
Although many passengers were embarrassed and looked away, many others whipped out their smartphones to document the unusual sight.
Witness Alexis Poblete managed to record the incident in two clear photos and uploaded them to his social media accounts.
His action left many people stunned
The appearance of the naked man prompted security staff at the station to activate security protocols.
Another social media user identified as Marilu Mansilla reported "a half-n*ked man shouting on L4-L1 San Pablo".
A rail spokesman said on an official social media channel: "Station staff are already aware of the inconvenience and are reviewing the situation."
Despite Mansilla’s claim to have seen a half-n*ked man, the pictures clearly show that the clothing-shy commuter was not wearing a stitch.
The identity of the flasher and the reasons behind the event are still unknown, but netizens were quick to speculate.
Ricardo Avalos wrote: "He must be a performance artist for (publicly funded arts program) Fondart. In this country you see everything."
While Javiera Del Carmen Santos concluded: "Poor thing, he must have psychiatric problems. I feel sorry for the family.”
