The Oldest Woman at Makurdi IDP Camp is 105 Years and Her Daughter is 75

 

 

The torrential rains in Markudi which flooded houses, destroyed properties and displaced thousands of people has forced some elderly people out of their homes overnight.

 

This is the reality one 105 years old woman regarded as Mama Kutsuwe Kwembe is facing at the IDP camp as she struggles on a makeshift foam that shares the same features with an old mat with her body exposed to harsh weather conditions. 

 

 

She has been described as the oldest woman at the IDP camp which is also housing her daughter who is 75 years old.

 

An urgent appeal is currently being made to well-meaning Nigerians to rally round the despondent people at the Makurdi camp with relief materials.
