Notorious Armed Robbers Operating In Police Outfits In Rivers Apprehended by SARS (Photos)

 

It is the end of the road for a six man gang of suspected kidnappers and armed robbers operating with police coloured Ford ranger jeep and police accoutrements in Rivers state after they were nabbed by men of the Federal Special Anti Robbery Squad (FSARS).

 

Two pump action guns and police protective vests were recovered from the suspects on the 18th and 19th of June.

 

The suspects identified as Tony Raphael, Ifeanyi Okoye, Chigozie Onuigbo, Emeka Nwaiwu, Clark Sunday and Chinedu Isia were said to always operate in police attire to rob unsuspecting victims.

 

The suspects also confessed to numerous kidnappings and armed robberies in Rivers state and environs.

 

Investigation is still in progress as the suspects will be charged to court once its concluded.
