Unbelievable! 47-year-old Woman Gives Birth One Hour After Doctors Told Her She Was Pregnant (Photo)

 

A mother gave doctors the surprise of a lifetime by giving birth just hours after finding out that she was pregnant. Judy Brown, from Massachusetts, Boston, US, was rushed to hospital after complaining of severe abdominal pain only to be told she was actually going into labour.

 

An hour later Judy and her husband of 22 years, Jason, much to their surprise, welcomed their first child together - an 8 pound healthy baby girl. Judy had noticed that her stomach grew a little, but she attributed it to menopause and never went for any medical check-up.

 

The new mum told ABC News: "It was a little bit scary getting into the hospital thinking something was really bad was going on. To understand and take in that I was pregnant and was about to go into labour, it was very overwhelming."

 

The couple named their baby girl Carolyn Rose after both of their mothers had to borrow some key baby items like a car seat and bassinet before leaving the hospital.
