Mum Drowns Her 7-year-old Daughter in Front of Her Son as Punishment (Photo)

 

In this shocking revelation, a mother has been charged to court for drowning her young daughter in front of her son as punishment for misbehaving.

 

The woman identified as Amanda Lewis murdered seven-year-old Adrianna Hutto after she sprayed window cleaner over the TV in the living room.

She had lied that the daughter had been cleaning bugs out of the pool when she slipped and fell in.

 

But she was exposed after the dead daughter's younger brother AJ, then five, had desperately tried to save her but it was too late. He revealed that the mother drowned his Adrianna to death.

 

The incident which was not an accident happened in Esto, Florida.

 

Her terrified son AJ, the key witness in the case, told cops Adrianna made 'momma mad' after spraying cleaning fluid over the television.

 

In the interview he said his mum had "dunked" and "drowned" his sister as he demonstrated how she did it.

 

AJ said: "She done some stuff that she ain't supposed to so my momma got mad, so she throwed her in the pool."

Cops noticed the children's bedroom was squalid and had a strong stench of urine.

 

A month after her daughter's death, Amanda was charged with murder.

 

Also, a post-mortem examination revealed a bruise over Adrianna's face was the shape of a handprint.

 

Revealing more details, the doctor who tried to save Adrianna said Amanda was emotionless when she had heard her daughter had passed away. It was also revealed by her colleagues that she had talked about killing her daughter.

 

Following a four-day trial the jury found Amanda guilty of murder and she was sentenced to life without parole.
