Possessed Father Eats His Baby Alive (Photo)

A man widely believed to be bewitched in Papua New Guinea was seen publicly eating his own baby alive. This happened in the township of Tabubil, Western Province.

A pindrop silence occurred in the township of Tabubil, Western Province area of Papua New Guinea when a week-old baby was eaten alive publicly by the father. The awful scene was later demostrated at a police station in the presence of gravely-shocked unlookers, including policemen and the town’s senior district court magistrate, Patrick Monouluk.

An eyewitness reported the people of the area have been extremely vigilant and living in fear of cannibalism. Children have been restricted from going out for fear of being the next victims.

“Believe it or not I saw him eating the baby by piercing its body with his teeth while blood spilled from his mouth. Everybody watched him with fear.”

Acting Western provincial police commander Peter Philip confirmed the horrific act. He said the man entered his home at Wanbin settlement at around 10pm and started an argument with his wife who was nursing the baby.

Chief Inspector Philip further revealed the man strangled his wife. After which he took the baby and started taking bites from its head to the neck and other areas. As expected, the baby cried out in pains. Neigbhbours were called by the wife to rescue the baby but all their attempts failed. He was reportedly too strong for them as evil forces possessed him.
