Valentine Fever: EFCC 'Falls in Love' Amid Tough Anti-corruption Fight

The premiere anti-corruption body in Nigeria, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has gone strangely romantic on Valentine's Day following some emotional Twitter messages.

In the past couple of months, the verified Twitter handle of th EFCC, @officialEFCC has employed friendly tactics aimed at growing the page.

The anti-graft body has deviated from serious anti-corruption and criminal issues to engage diverse followers with explosive jokes which has been very effective in boosting the rate of followership of the Twitter account.

The EFCC yesterday, 14th of February, 2017 joined Nigerians in marking the Valentine's Day of love by dropping an interesting poem for a fictitious female/woman.

Nigerians have applauded the page for the show of deep poetic touches. This is happening as the agency of the state battles strongly corrupt government officials with about N3.4 trillion loot recovered in just a year.
