Drug traffickers have targeted Barcelona star, Lionel Messi by using his face and name in trafficking drugs in Peru.

Police have reportedly seized a staggering £73million worth of cocaine branded with Lionel Messi’s face on the packaging,
Sun UK reports.
However, this is not the first time the class A drug has been named after the Argentinean star. In December 2015, crooks reportedly named £2.4million worth of the drug “Messi”, thought to be related to the Barcelona playmaker.
But according to Twitter user @barcastuff_real, Messi’s name has once again been branded on 1,417 kilograms of cocaine found in Peru.
The image of five packages wrapped in cling film was uploaded to Twitter with a picture of Messi in a Barcelona shirt in the bottom right corner.
Also stamped across the packaging is his name with an icon resembling his official “M” logo and what looks like a Nike football. It is believed the drug traffickers used the name of the star and his face in order to deceive authorities.
