My Father Was Killed by Politicians - Senator Adeleke's Son Opens Can of Worms

 

 

Since the demise of the All Progressives Congress chieftain and 2018 gubernatorial aspirant, Senator Isiaka Adeleke on Sunday, the 23rd of April, 2017, people have been pointing accusing fingers at his political colleagues.

 

Medical reports from news platforms have it that the 62-year old politician died of a heart attack after an overdose of pain killers. This information has failed to appeal to the conscience of his supporters who believe his death was a ploy to prevent him from becoming the governor of Osun State at the expiration of the tenure of Governor Rauf Aregbesola in 2018.

 

The late Adeleke's son, Tunji, has also taken to his Snapchat to emphasize that his father was a victim of political power-play.

And also, Nigerian superstar singer, Davido has also cancelled his scheduled musical performances in Osun state following the death of his uncle. Davido also indirectly insinuated that his uncle was killed by using the word 'Jealousy'.

 

Meanwhile, Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun yesterday rescued an aide to Osun State Governor, Ms Idiat Babalola, from mob attack at the premises of the late Senator Isiaka Adeleke, on Monday. She has been accused by Adeleke's supporters of having a hand in his death.

 

Late Senator Adeleke was a former governor of Osun and serving senator of Osun West. He died in the early hours of Sunday at a private hospital in Osogbo.
