Too Emotional! Police Officer Mourns Colleague Who Was Shot Dead Alongside 6 Others by Gunmen In Abuja

As the police have launched a manhunt for gunmen who shot dead seven policemen on Monday night at a checkpoint in Abuja, a police office has mourned his friend who died in the brutal attack.

A Facebook user identified as Mk Omar Samari, who is a police officer attached to the Niger State command, has taken to social networking platform to mourn his friend and colleague, who was shot dead by gunmen in Abuja on Monday, July 2.
 
Recall that unknown gunmen opened fire on the policemen on stop-and-search duty operation at Galadimawa Roundabout, a suburb of Abuja, killing seven with one critically injured.
 
While mourning his dead colleague, Omar posted a photo of the deceased police officer, and wrote:
 
"Rest in peace to my humble gallant officer who they were attacked yesterday  night 2nd July 2018 in Abuja at Galadimawa round about by unknown gun men, it's a pitty we came together from 60pmf Benin edo state to Abuja on special duty since last year December 24th 2017 till date. but today their known more alive, may God almighty  help us through out in our duty post amen."
 
 
According to an eyewitness who said he narrowly escaped: “The policemen were on stop-and-search operation. When they stopped the armed men for search they opened fire on the policemen killing seven of them and one was seriously injured.”
