It has been reported that a man identified as Mohammed Jafar has been stopped from killing himself while trying to do so in Lagos.
The man was reportedly seen trying to commit suicide by jumping into the lagoon but he was saved just in time.
Mohammed Jafar, 25, was on Wednesday, January, 23, seen trying to jump off the Carter Bridge into the lagoon below.
He was rescued by the officials of Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) and later handed over to the police.
