Aggrieved residents have taken the law into their own hands by battering an officer during an altercation.
The sad incident took place in Amasaman in Accra, Ghana.
In a viral video posted online, angry residents could be seen attacking the police officer identified as Sgt. Mahanadi at the SWAT Unit of the Ghana Police Service.
What led to the assault on the police officer is yet to be ascertained.
