It's good times for the duo of Yemi Alade and Wizkid as they've both been nominated for a BET Award in the Best African Act Category for 2015.
Two rave of the moment Nigerian music stars - Yemi Alade and Wizkid, have been nominated in the Best African Act category of the 2015 edition of the prestigious Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards.

Wizkid, who emerged joint winner with Ghanaian Sarkodie, in the 2012 edition, will be looking forward to winning the 2015 Award for himself. For 'Johnny' singer, Ms. Alade, this is her first outing at the showpiece event.
Yemi Alade, who recently returned to the country from a successful music tour of Europe, took to her Instagram page in excitement to share the good news.
"WE ARE THE NEW BET NOMINEE IN TOWN MY TANGERINES…FOR BEST AFRICAN ACT!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS EFFYZZIE DESERVES THE BEST", she wrote.
Meanwhile, Yemi and 'StarBoy' Wizzy face competition for the prestigious award from other African acts such as Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2015 Artiste Of The Year, Stonebwoy, alongside his compatriot, Sarkodie; Congolese Fally Ipupa as well as THE SOIL and AKA, both from South Africa.
The 2015 BET Award events will run for three days starting from June 25, with the grand finale scheduled to air live from Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre on Sunday, June 28 and hosted by Wayne Brady.
