Married Man Narrates Scary Incident That Made Him Start Engaging In House Chores Together With His Wife

A Nigerian man who is married to a devoted wife has recounted a scary incident that happened in his home.

The man recounted the incident that occurred early in his marriage which made him start getting involved in house chores, rather than leaving it all to his wife.

He explained that at the early stage of marriage, he was the provider. His wife worked too at her own creative enterprise yet did all the house chores after work.

He said he would return home and sit, demanding his food and would sometimes get irritated when his wife who also works doesn't have food ready.

One day, he said he returned home to find the kitchen smoking and his wife "sleeping" in the kitchen. He put off the fire from the burning food and woke his wife but she was unconscious.

At the hospital, it was revealed she lacked rest and needed some.

As his wife was on bed rest, the man said he did the house chores for two days and was completely tired when he was done.

That made him realize and appreciate the efforts his wife puts into chores.

He said since then, he has started joining his wife in doing chores and it has made their home livelier and brought them closer together.
