Ivorian professional footballer, Yaya Toure, has wiped out all doubts surrounding his future in Manchester City confirming his willingness to stay at the Premier league club side.
The 32-year old footballer, has been a target for Inter Milan and a few weeks ago his agent, Dimitri Seluk, said the midfielder was "90 per cent certain" to leave the former Premier League champions.
However, after Seluk's revelation, Toure insisted that he would remain at the Etihad Stadium, promising to help City get better.
Toure told Manchester Evening News: "I will definitely stay. The fans don't have to be worried. My target this year is to try to do everything possible to make this team improve well."
"I am sure with my experience, maybe I hope, with the players coming in a couple of weeks, a couple of months, definitely it is going to be a strong City next year."
"What I want is the Champions League title," he added.
Toure has won the Premier League twice, the FA Cup and the Capital One Cup as a City player but has now set his sights on the Champions League. He was a European champion with Barcelona in 2009 but City are yet to reach the last eight of the competition.
