Former Big Brother Naija housemate Sheggz has opened up about how his understanding of love has changed over the years, saying he no longer believes love is about finding the perfect person.

Reflecting on his journey, Sheggz said he used to think love was about finding the right person, but at 30, he no longer holds that view, noting that he has had relationships that looked impressive from the outside as well as ones that humbled him greatly, adding that each of them taught him something valuable.

He explained that one of the biggest lessons he has learnt is that love does not only expose the other person but also exposes oneself one's ego, communication style, insecurities, patience, and areas one previously believed were fine but actually needed work.

Sheggz also admitted that his idea of an ideal relationship has evolved, saying he once believed the best relationships were with people who did not challenge him.

But now understands that the best relationships are those that consistently push a person to become the best version of themselves.

He said he is no longer drawn primarily to chemistry, but instead values consistency, healthy communication and accountability, stressing the importance of being able to talk things through when upset, take responsibility when wrong, and prioritise each other's peace over winning arguments.

Concluding, the reality TV star said that at 30, he no longer sees love as finding someone perfect, but rather as two imperfect people coming together to grow, respect each other and build something meaningful, adding that this is the kind of relationship he is now working toward not perfection, but his own version of what feels right.
