Presidency Lines Up More Corrupt Influential Nigerians to be Exposed

 

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday in Abu Dhabi has insisted that the Federal Government have lined up more corrupt Nigerians who will soon be charged for stealing Nigeria's money. 

 

Buhari made the pledge in Abu Dhabi while interacting with the Nigerian Community in the country. He assured Nigerians at the interactive session that his administration’s war against corruption will continue to be vigorously pursued.

 

Speaking on corruption that has almost crippled the nation, the president pledged that more persons who have abused the public trust will be exposed and brought to justice soon, as he assured all that his government was committed to re-establishing former standards of accountability and probity in the management of public funds which were jettisoned under past administrations. He also said his government will respect the rule of law.

 

He urged Nigerians to support the economic policies of the government even in the face of dwindling oil prices.

 

 

“We must develop the capacity to feed ourselves and we should be spending our resources on real development projects, not luxuries,” he said.
