Angel of My Life singer, Paul Play has denied his absence from the music industry has anything to do with his reported relapse, promising to drop some singles for his fans in the next two weeks.
Not too long back, he was one of the most sought after musicians in this part of the world until suddenly, he just disappeared from the public eyes leading many to speculate he was not in good health as a result of kidney related ailment. Who else am I talking about than 'Mosorire' crooner, Paul Play.

Paul, who is the son of legendary Nigerian high life singer, IK Dairo, however, denied the speculation his absence from the music circuit has got anything to do with ill health.
Speaking with Saturday Beats, the singer admitted going to the hospital to 'keep up' with his health but denies suffering a relapse.
"I just went to the hospital to keep up with my health. I didn't have any relapse. There is nothing like that at all", he said.
He promised to bounce back soon with new material, which he said would be dropped for his fans in a fortnight.
"I'm coming out with a single very soon. In the next two weeks, it will be out. I've mapped out my strategy and I'll be back in the next two weeks with my single. I have been doing some other things apart from music. I don't want to talk about what I have been doing", he added.
Playing down feelers that he might not be able to come out with music that his fans will not be able to relate to, he said "One thing is this my work and my talent; so I don't have that kind of concern or pressure, because one thing about this business is that you have to believe in yourself. And maybe because I've actually made some impression on people, and I have a fan base, there is no problem. I still do performances. I still appear at some events and do my thing, so I really don't think that should be a problem", he said.
