Ojugbane Adegbe, former aide-de-camp (ADC) to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has been released from custody.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)
arrested him on February 11 and Adegbe was transferred to the custody of the Nigerian army last week. Ogwu Onoja, Adegbe’s counsel, confirmed Adegbe’s release on Friday, saying the army colonel was freed in the afternoon.
The anti-graft agency questioned Adegbe over the role he allegedly played in the distribution of N10 billion to delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
