The musician, who is the eldest son of legendary Afrobeat creator, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, was born on 16 June, 1962 in London.
With songs like 'Beng Beng Beng', 'Blackman Know Yourself', 'Wonder Wonder' and 'Politics Na Big Business' to his credit among others too numerous to mention, Femi has carved a niche for himself, keeping the Afrobeat genre alive and in demand as he only just returned to the country from the U.S, where he performed for two nights alongside members of his 'Positive Force' band.
Femi, last year received a medal of recognition from organizers of the prestigious Grammy Awards for being nominated a record four times in the world music category but losing out on all occasions.
