Nigerian Man Narrates Terrifying Moment A Female Passenger On An Enugu-bound Plane Attempted To Open The Door Mid-flight

A Nigerian man, Alex Onyia has taken to 'X' platform to recount the terrifying moment a female passenger on an Enugu-bound plane attempted to open the door mid-flight.

Onyia said the incident happened on Sunday morning, December 17, 2023.

He stated that as she attempted to open it, the other passengers quickly intervened.

When questioned why she attempted to put the lives of the passengers at risk, she stated that she wanted to see if the door would open.

He called on airline operators to be mindful of who they allow on emergency exits.

“I experienced a terrifying moment this morning while flying with Ibom Air to Enugu. The woman seated in front of me, near the emergency exit, attempted to open the door mid-flight. We quickly intervened to prevent a potential disaster. When questioned, she responded with a smile, claiming she wanted to see if the door would open. Airlines should be careful on who they allow on those critical seats,”
