Residents in one of the suburbs of the war-torn Borno State massively hailed the Nigerian troops after a triumphant victory against the Boko Haram sect that were ruthlessly routed from their enclaves in the area.

Pictured above are elated children hailing some gallant soldiers while returning to their base in Borno state which has been cleansed of terrorists. A soldier took a selfie during the jubilation to cherish the moment.
