Rotimi Salami Denies Accusations Of Leaving Movie Set Without Notice

Popular Nigerian actor, Rotimi Salami has reacted to allegations that he abandoned a movie set without completing his scenes

The controversy began when actress Ogundare Fatima publicly urged Salami to return to the set.

Salami took to Instagram to share his side of the story, revealing that he was initially booked for a two-day project by his senior colleague, Lekan Olatunji.

However, the shoot was rescheduled four times, and Salami received N100,000 as mobilization fees.

Despite the payment, Salami claimed that he arrived on set in Abeokuta late due to car issues.

He stated that he had a scheduled appointment in Lagos and couldn’t stay overnight due to delays from the movie crew.

Salami denied the production manager’s claims, accusing them of attempting to defame him.

He emphasized that he’s protecting his image and urged his fans to subscribe to his YouTube channel.

He wrote:“READ CAREFULLY..

I am doing this because I need to protect my image on Social Media first, especially because of those who truly care and have reached out to me, but I couldn’t pick or explain anything to them.

This will be the last time I will be saying anything about this here.
