Who Told You Your Wife Has To Cook For You? - Bride's Father Cautions Groom Against Insisting On Outdated Traditional Marriage Values (Video)

A father has issued a stern warning to his son-in-law against causing issues in his marriage by following outdated traditional marriage values.

The newlwed couple were at their wedding reception when the bride's father gave a speech directed at his son-in-law.

He said: "Don't believe in what this our culture brings, that you as the husband, you are the head of the family, when you come, you frown your face, that you're there as a father and you'll be opening your hand, 'Where's my food?'

"Who told you that she has to cook for you? Nowhere. Nobody. It's at her own volition; because she wants to make you happy, she wants to enter Aljannah, and she's going extra mile.

"Wallahi, at times, when I go to my house, they say there is no food. My wife here, she can testify."

The groom is seen listening intently as his father-in-law speaks while the bride is seen smiling proudly at her father.
