Allegedly Stabs 15-Year-Old Daughter as Neighbors Intervene Just in Time

Following earlier beatings close to a compound entrance, a video of a mother in a yellow shirt straddling her 15-year-old daughter at 32 Tashoro Street near Ipaja with a knife above her appeared late on April 28.

The girl's condition is unknown, but bystanders intervened.

According to reports, the mother had a history of abusing her and had stabbed her several times. As of April 29, the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency, police, and Governor Sanwo-Olu have not received an official reaction to the outcry raised online.
