Poor drainage facilities in the metropolitan city of Lagos has caused an embarrassing flood in the island area of the state.

Lagosians experienced a heavy downpour early Wednesday morning but what Ajah residents of the state are experiencing is more than the rainfall. Houses, streets and roads were seen taken over by flood at about 8am.

This affected the movement of vehicles in the region as commercial activities were also hampered massively.
