Pete Edochie Reveals Health Battle as Walking Becomes Difficult

Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has spoken about his health, saying he is struggling to walk and sometimes has swelling in his hands and legs.

He shared this while visiting ailing Ghanaian actor Emmanuel Armah in Ghana.

Edochie said walking is a problem for now but he still has hope that he will recover.

He explained that some parts of his body are sometimes swollen when he wakes up, though the swelling goes down after a while.

He said his hand and leg were swollen at the time of the visit.

Despite this, the Things Fall Apart actor said he is hopeful and keeps praying and putting his trust in God.

Edochie also shared a personal prayer about his death.

He said he keeps asking God to take him whenever it is time and not let him become a burden to the people around him.

Edochie has had a career spanning several decades and is one of Nollywood's most celebrated veterans, known for his commanding screen presence and distinctive delivery.

His latest words give a rare look at the health challenges he is facing.
